Vegan Protein 'No-tella'

Chocolate spread with a strong nutty flavour, high in protein and crunchy nut pieces.

Serves: 1 Jar


  • 2 scoops Prana On Primal Protein in Hazelnut Cacao

  • 1 cup raw hazelnuts

  • 2 tbs raw cacao

  • 3 tbsp water (more if needed)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and spread out the hazelnuts in an even layer.

  3. Roast the nuts for about 17-18 minutes, or until the hazelnuts are golden brown.

  4. Remove from the oven, place the hazelnuts in a kitchen towel and rub with your hands to remove their skins. Let cool.

  5. Combine the protein powder, cacao and cooled hazelnuts to a food processor and combine. You can make this as crunchy or smooth as you like.

  6. Add water slowly into the food processor and pulse a few times until you get a thick paste.

  7. Use as a topping for oats, spread on toast, or just eat by the spoonful!
